2011 Best Import and Edit Software-Transcode/Convert Canon HF M300 MTS files to ProRes 422 for FCP X Editing
To save the storage space of my Canon HFM300 and shoot more ,I used to copy the videos I like from the camcorder to my Mac and delete the others. Recently I want to edit the videos I shot in my graduation year with FCP X and then share the MP4 videos on youtube. The problem is that I do not have the whole BDMV folder and therefore, cannot import MTS Videos to FCP X on Mac. I tried many products and thanks to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac - 2011 Best Import and Edit Software, it helps me solve the problem. Following I am very glad to share my experience of importing MTS files with Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac and Import and Convert MTS files to Apple ProRes for editing on FCP X.

2. Create a movie for conversion.
Click the drop-down button of "Add A Movie" icon and choose "For Conversion" to create a blank movie. Then drag and drop the MTS files from Camcorder Tab to the blank movie.
3. Export Apple ProRes or Apple ProRes 422 for Editing on FCP X.
Click the little icon on the right side of the movie and choose its output format as "Apple ProRes 422" under "final cut pro", click the "Export" button and Start Convert Canon MTS to ProRes/ProRes 422
